I love this series. There are 22 books in it, and I'm only on the fourth one, but it's great! It's fast-paced and exciting, full of battles, adventures, riddles, and more. The main theme of each book is Redwall Abbey, an Abbey run by kind mice and other woodland creatures. They are peaceful creatures but defend their Abbey and its residents when they need to.

Age Recommendation: 10+

Violence: There's quite a bit of violence in these books, because they're all about woodland creatures fighting off evil creatures, such as rats. That's why I'm saying 10+ on this one because while it's not dark, it can be gory at times.

Language: There is, of course, name-calling and insulting in these books, but no bad words.

Once you get through the books, check out the animated series! You can find it for free on YouTube. Also, for more reviews, check out Goodreads.com.
