This book is about an eight-year old boy named Jacques Papier, who lives with his twin sister and parents (and evil wiener dog, Francois). But one day, Jacques finds out the truth: he's imaginary. His "twin sister", Fleur, imagined him! And so, Jacques goes on a quest to find out who he really is.

This is a hilarious and beautiful story, and it teaches good lessons about being a supportive friend, loving people for who they are, and appreciating the small things. It also proves that no man (or imaginary friend) is an island, and illustrates the true power of imagination.

Age Recommendations: 8+

Violence: There is no violence in this book.

Language: There is one use of “h**k”, but other than that, this book is totally clean.
